The bottom-up initiative of the Programme Council and the Kraków Festival Office serves to create a platform for knowledge and the sharing of good practices, but also to develop viable solutions that will be applied in the creation of festivals being an important element of the cultural world.
FEST FORUM is a space co-created by experienced organisers as well as bold innovators from the industry. Through cooperation and the exchange of competences, we launch ideas and create a new narrative about festivals – one that is aware of intangible heritage and grounded in social responsibility. Together we’re better heard and more effective. By developing our skills, we’re designing the future of festivals.

Summary of the last edition
The autumn edition of FEST FORUM, which took place on November 6–7, 2025 in Kraków, was a unique opportunity for the festival community from across Poland to come together. Under the motto “Balance,” participants jointly sought answers to the challenges facing the festival sector — from the well-being of teams and cooperation with local communities, to sustainable practices and new funding models.
For the second time, Potocki Palace became a place for the exchange of knowledge and experience, filled with industry workshops and public debates. They addressed issues of copyright, the protection of minors, co-organization, a critical look at “festivalization,” networking and self-organization, as well as innovative, sustainable practices. A lecture by Natália Oszkó-Jakab, representative of the European Festivals Association, introduced an international context, presenting examples of good practices from Europe.
FEST FORUM once again combined industry dialogue with an open space for the public.
