Dofinansowanie: Krajowy Plan Odbudowy i Unia Europejska

    16 June 2026
After two editions of meetings, workshops, and joint work within the festival community, FEST FORUM is moving from a format of recurring events to a year-round platform for cooperation. The new phase of the initiative includes the launch of a community platform and the establishment of the FEST FORUM Association, which will be formally founded on September 16, 2026, in Warsaw.

    Platform

The FEST FORUM platform is a year-round community of people connected with the festival sector. It gathers materials from previous meetings, reports, summaries, research, and industry reflections, while also enabling users to publish their own content. The platform is intended to support the exchange of knowledge, the maintenance of contacts, and the building of a shared substantive foundation for the community.

    Association

The FEST FORUM Association will be a grassroots, membership-based structure of people involved in the festival sector: organizers, producers, creators, researchers, educators, managers, and others connected with the festival ecosystem. Festivals, institutions, NGOs, and industry partners will be able to support the association as part of a broader cooperation network.

The meeting on September 16, 2026, in Warsaw will mark the formal establishment of the FEST FORUM Association. The event is intended to be not only organizational in nature, but also community-oriented, with space for exchanging experiences, networking, and discussing further directions of cooperation within the festival community.

The number of places is limited. Registration will remain open until the available pool of places is filled. When confirming participation, the organizers will take into account not only the order of applications, but also the need to maintain the most diverse and inclusive representation of the festival community possible. Detailed information about registration can be found here.

The FEST FORUM Platform and Association were created as a result of previous meetings and the work of the Program Council, with the support of the Krakow Festival Office and thanks to funding from the National Recovery Plan.
